As you walk inside a well-built cottage you notice a beautiful maiden sitting in a chair weaving a piece of cloth. There is a fire in the hearth and a pot of water boiling. To the left of you is a small table with some bread on it in a basket. To the northwest is a ladder leading to a bedchamber above the doorway. The girl looks up, notices you, and smiles. Hello, my name is Europa, you must be new here. Sit down, I shall tell you my story. Would you like some tea? I would No thank-you "I was born to a skilled hunter and a dryad nymph. I do not know much about my birth parents, but when I was only a few years old my father was killed by a soldier for hunting on the kings land. My mother, not knowing what to do, left me with a poor farmer and his wife knowing that they had had children and could care for me. The farmer, Oberic,who is skilled in nature magic, taught me all there was to know about the land and how to care for it, how to make it do what ever you wanted, how to help and heal you. His wife, Freyana, would teach me something new everyday about my history, different works of literature, and the arts. She is my mentor and best friend. My parents kept me away from the city until I turned 17, at that time the powers which were passed down to me from my birth mother had been learned and mastered. I promised Freyana and Oberic that I wouldn't use my powers for evil and that I would find a husband and settle down for it had been their wish to have grandchildren since their only children, two sons, had died in a war. It has been many years since I last saw either of them. I write Freyana whenever I can to find out how the two of them are doing and if the land has been bountiful. Europa basically works with nature spells but she does know a few extra spells that she has picked up on her journeys, mostly love spells and chants but also a few chaos and sorcery commands.
